A non-profit from Austin, Texas that uses the arts, sciences, and technology to help youth find and pursue pathways to successful careers in the creative economy through hands-on-training, active mentorship, and exposure to real world opportunities.

When I stumbled upon E4, I quickly realized the impact it had on everyone involved. It is an ecosystem that has brought me growth, friendships, opportunities and experience. Some of the highlights would be experiencing SXSW and participating in Shadow the Pros.
My Role(s)

As part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, E4 Youth expanded its online programming to provide weekly access to guest speakers from within the creative, technology and entrepreneurial sectors. We hold virtual talks which are broadcast live. I work behind the scenes as the project manager & my role includes some the following tasks:
- Report to the Program Manager
- Delegate tasks
- Work closely with creatives and production in a fast-paced team environment
- Validate the content needed to promote each virtual talk on a weekly basis
- Organize and maintain team schedule

// Digital Docent
E4 Youth has been working on creating content to showcase forgotten stories. We work with immersive media and technology to collect and curate oral histories of Austin’s older residents of color into a virtual archive. We then share these practices to promote digital and cultural literacy throughout the community.
This role included some the following tasks:
- Participate in team projects with various business
- Schedule interviews with individuals who have a deep understanding/connection to the locations we wanted to highlight
- Understand how to put together audio and 360 images to create a virtual reality experiences
- Be able to teach a young audience (10-15 age range) how to create their own VR experience
- Efficiently complete all projects assigned in a timely manner
This role included some the following tasks:

- Create a social media calendar
- Responsible for content (i.e., text, photos)
- Maintain proper file formatting before placement and perform quality assurance
- Ensure content accuracy across multiple platforms
- Look over logistics on Zoho Social
- Established a system for photo collecting within organization employees/participants
